Job Description  Stock Controller                (FTC 12 Months)

Role Summary

Reporting to the Accountant,

The Stock Controller maintains the market’s inventory, replenishing items according to business needs and implementing purchases, audits, and transfers. They maintain purchase and pricing reports, replenishes stock levels, and oversee shipments and internal stock transfers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in inventory management, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years experience in a stock control or warehouse environment.
  • Experience working with fresh produce or perishable goods a strong asset.
  • Excellent inventory management and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit to perform the requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
