Job Description – Operations Officer      (FTC 12 Months)

Role Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager,

The Operations Officer plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse for our B2B fresh produce business. They oversee all aspects of receiving, storing, managing, and dispatching fresh produce inventory while maintaining the highest standards for quality control and food safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or logistics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis.
• Working knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid forklift operator license is a plus.
